The Challenge

Step-by-step instructions

1

Get Involved

Complete the pre-challenge evaluation.

  • This short survey hosted by the university of Kent, lets us know who is taking part. It will also help us to work out how people engage with the challenge and the local impacts, to support us to develop this initiative further

It would be great if you can begin the challenge at the start of October, but it is never too late, and new participants can join the challenge any time during October 2025.

2

Get Moving

Every day in October, aim for 30 minutes of movement that works for you:

  • Walking or wheeling
  • Playing tennis or football
  • Swimming
  • Yoga, Pilates or fitness classes
  • Playing with the kids or dancing in the kitchen

Anything that gets your body moving counts!

  • Download a printable tracker: great for families or offline tracking. Download the tracker. Download the tracker
  • Use Strava: Create an account or sign in and join our Strava Club (search: 30x30 Physical Activity Challenge on Strava)
  • Or simply Keep your own notes, it all counts.
